For the Dessert
- 500 g fresh strawberries
- 80 g caster sugar
- Vanilla ice cream
- 4 tablespoons aged balsamic vinegar

Prepare the Strawberries
Carefully wash the strawberries with the stems still attached. Drain them, remove the stems, and cut into medium-sized slices.
Marinate the Fruit
Place the strawberries in a bowl, sprinkle with sugar, and mix gently. Cover and leave them in the refrigerator for about one hour to release their natural juices.
Assemble the Dessert
Once ready, gently mix the strawberries again and divide them into four individual bowls. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream to each portion.
Finish and Serve
Drizzle each serving with a teaspoon (or more, according to taste) of aged balsamic vinegar. Serve immediately and enjoy this fresh and simple Italian dessert.
