The nose of this medium-thick condiment balsamic vinegar opens both sweet and tart, with notes of molasses and hints of fruit. This balsamic vinegar has completely changed my perspective in using balsamic. I always thought it to be a thin and sour vinegar - but not this Balsamic Riserva! It’s thick and rich with a hint of sweetness I had never expected. I now love to enjoy pasta with just this balsamic and olive oil.
