Wine Description:

"Cavaliere" is an aristocrat wine with elegant and personal flavor. With a deep ruby red tending to garnet with age it's a blend of Sangiovese and Merlot. Its bouquet is Round, complete and elegant. Has a dry, full and smooth flavor.

The prime quality and structure of this wine demand excellent first courses and risottos with sauces made from game, red meat, and mature spicy cheeses.

Sangiovese almost always plays the dominant role in the blend, with Merlot used to soften the wine's texture and make it more approachable in its youth. Merlot also adds fruitiness and juiciness to the blend, complementing Sangiovese's more savory and herbaceous qualities.
