Chicken rolls with ham and mozzarella are perfect as a second course for a family dinner as they are usually loved by adults and children. These chicken rolls are very versatile, you can cook them in the oven or in a pan and you can create many variations and fillings, but the classic ham and mozzarella are the best, what do you say?

Method:

Chop all the vegetables: onion, garlic, celery and carrot. Prepare the soffritto, in a non-stick pan add the olive oil and the chopped vegetables, adjust the salt and pepper. Cook until the vegetables become tender.

Fill the chicken slices with ham, mozzarella, a little grated Parmesan cheese and basil leaves. Wrap everything up and stop with a toothpick.

Put the meat rolls in the pan with the soffritto, add the white wine and a little flour. Cook and wait for the liquids to thicken until they form a sauce.

Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
