Procedure:
To prepare sausage and beans, you can choose whether to use dried beans or canned. If you prefer dry beans, then you have to put them to soak in water overnight and then cook for about an hour. If you prefer a faster recipe, you can use canned beans.
In a pan, pour the extra virgin olive oil and cook the sausages for about 10 minutes. Check the sausages and, when ready, remove them from the pan to a plate. Using the same pan with extra vigin olive oil, sauté the garlic and sage leaves, pepper, salt and pepper.
Add beans, sausages and tomato sauce. Cook for about 30 minutes, adding water if necessary. Check the sausage, add salt, and pepper if necessary.
The dish sausage with beans is ready to be served hot with Tuscan bread.
